“ Beautiful cafe near Cal Berkeley campus. After riding our bikes for a few hours. We just wanted an afternoon coffee and pastry. We loved the Yemen Chai and coffee and Bee bite pastry here! The Yemen Chai called Adani? ..we actually drank this earlier the same morning at Farmers Market near Lake Merritt and loved it there too. No coincidences!! I realized that day I need this Yemen Chai in my life daily..I think its my new favorite hot beverage. I love the flavor, unique spice its not as sweet as Indian Chai I always prefer less sweet But the Bee bites pastry.. it has a cheese inside and lightness to it..but hunee...the honey on this pastry..was the best honey Ive ever tasted..they said the honey is from Yemen as well..so amazing!! Definitely returning!! I will check out all their locations besides Berkeley they said they have one in Oakland and 2 in SF. ”
“ Great coffee shop that recently opened near the Cal Berkeley campus with a focus on Yemeni coffee and pastries Im grading on a slight curve since the place recently opened and I think any restaurant needs at least 6 months to hit their stride. Place has a lot of promise though. Coffee beverages I tried were all great though I lived for a while in the same region, so am partial to similar ways of preparing coffee. The pastries were generally very good we only scratched the surface on the options available there. The honey comb bread stuffed with cheese was great and definitely worth a try. The baklava was also solid. I was a little disappointed with the knafeh. Not bad, but Ive had better. Maybe it would have been better warm. The croissant was a little too dense, but edible. The service was a little backed up, there was only one person working there. The person there was incredibly friendly and helpful. Just wish she had help! Atmosphere is nice. Outdoor seating would be nice, since I have a dog. But the place is a block from the UC campus, so its easy to find a spot outside there. Ill definitely return! ”
“ Feels really fancy and shiny, love the gold and black color scheme. Rose cake and latte was great. Everything was prepared quickly, and looked extra glitzy. A comfortable place to hang out or study. ”
“ Amazing coffee and desserts in a beautiful cafe. What is not to love? The baklava is perfect, and the yemeni late has a subtle spice and sweetness that was so balanced and decadent. 1010 recommend ”
“ Just visited the Delah Coffee House today, and I tried a Yemeni Latte with a beef stuffed bread. It was really good and I enjoyed it. Mohamed the barista working at the time showed very good service and was great with conversation. I will definitely come again. ”
“ This is by far the best coffee house Ive ever been to. The staff are wonderful, and the environment is so welcoming! The hospitality is actually insane. I got the Rose Delah Late and the Spinach Savory Pie, and both were the best that Ive ever had! Authentic Arabic Coffee. ”
“ The honey bee bites , with a concept of arsenal cells cells as theirsignature dessert if its served with honey, but it will be salee salty brunch if its served without honey. I wanted to fee Especially if one wants to tryo out l its components , enjoying every ingredient in its own, it was a good call, you can sense the creme fondue that fills each sesame cell. This was the first time I try it, and hopefully not the last signature , It is served hot But for a drink I recommend hot Sanaani to go along with the meal. Or Turkish coffee. ”
“ First time trying and was recommended the mangarabian smoothie and it was easily the best drink Ive ever tasted! Highly recommend it to anyone coming in. Fresh mango and quality taste. You can tell they emphasize details with the interior of the store and the beautiful, Arab style cups. The employees were extremely helpful as well and super nice. Best service Ive had! ”
